Rule 2 Player Eligibility Requirements
A) Senior American Legion Baseball competition in 2020 is open only to players born on or after January 1, 2001.
B) Players shall declare their eligibility base to either be their legal domicile or school the player attends. A player's domicile shall be his parent's or permanent court-appointed guardian's permanent domicile.
1) Players to play for S.D. Ireland must live in Charlotte, Shelburne, Hinesburg, St. George, Williston, or parts of Monkton. If not, see #2.
2) Players who attend Champlain Valley Union High School are eligible to play for S.D. Ireland Legion Baseball, if not see #3.
3) If you do not meet any of these requirements and would like to play, please see "Transfers."
C) Players who have graduated high school, am not over the age eligibility and have not played American Legion Baseball is eligible to play.
D) A player willing to transfer must obtain permission on Form #76 from the team manager that has rights to that player (team closest to domicile or school). If approved, the team next-closest to the player's domicile or school is granted rights to that player. This cycle may keep going until player is awarded to team that they are willing to play for or has chosen not to participate.
1) A player who has graduated from high school are not eligible to be transferred.
